Look Ten Years Younger – Healthy Skin Tips

Your skin is your body’s largest organ – did you know that?

Probably – most people do. But do you know what that means?

It means your skin – just like any other organ – performs a vital function that your body needs in order to maintain health. And just like any other organ, its performance of this function depends largely on how YOU take care of it. A city dweller who works indoors all day, breathing recirculated air, won’t get the same level of lung function as the retired country mouse who spends all his time outside.

Since the skin is your only visible organ, most skin care regimens focus on external care – creams and lotions and mud masks. Most skin problems like acne, Psoriasis and Eczema are treated from the outside in.

External skin care is important – your skin absorbs vitamins and nutrients that are vital to your health. But the best way to support healthy skin is internally – eating right, drinking lots of water, and of course – keeping your stress levels down. Always with the stress.
