Ok, I know he’s sick of the tall comments and questions, but the guy is 6’8″ and has hands to match. I’m talking about Andrew Roth, Physical ‘Therapist Assistant, our newest clinician. I first met Andrew as a patient and then later as a student of mine during his PTA program at Southwestern Community College in Sylva, NC. His laid back, relaxed attitude is the perfect skill for making people feel at ease in the face of a guy who has to duck to walk in most standard doorways. His excellent anatomy knowledge and his stellar presentation on drugs and drug interactions at the end of his clinical rotation also helped solidify my desire to have him on our team. And he’s awesome, using every bit of those gifts of hands to release nasty trigger points and work out those wicked knots. We are very fortunate to have him on our team and look forward to watching his manual therapy skills grow.
